 Following
graduation from Cumberland University (1949) and Southwestern
Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas (B.D. 1954, Th.D.
1959), the president of Coleman Stewardship Services, Inc. (CSSI)
was professor of Bible at Memphis State University for seven and
one-half years; pastor of two churches for approximately seventeen
years; and since November 1, 1979 was the top producer in a
leading Christian fund-raising firm based in Fort Worth, Texas.
From May 1, 1984 to August 1, 1987, he was
vice president and senior vice president of that firm, directing
the work of twenty-nine consultants and an office staff of
nine. In August of 1987 Dr. Coleman founded Coleman Stewardship
Service, Inc., and has been involved in over 300 successful
