Capital Stewardship

Dear Dr. Coleman,

I wanted to express my appreciation for a well run Capital Stewardship Program. Actually two well run programs; the "quick" campaign to raise money to buy our property, and a regular program to finance our building. The "quick" campaign was extremely successful. We paid cash, $250,000 for the 20 acres for our campus, and we had $183,000 balance for site preparation and building use.

Our Building Campaign is continuing and we are drawing close to $1,500,000. This is an excellent result for a church that doesn't like to hear sermons on giving, and whose members are reluctant to share "Blessing of Giving" testimonies. I know that the reluctance to give testimonies and share dollar amounts given was a hindrance to our campaign, but we've no one to blame but ourselves. Nevertheless, we have had an excellent campaign. I appreciate your adaptability to our particular situation. You did a good job, and you were always available to me and any of our people.

I would recommend you to any size church or program.
