Capital Stewardship

To Whom It May Concern:

When we went into our Capital Stewardship Program our goal was to raise the funds for our fist phase of our building program. The program was to have three phases to be completed over the period of several years. Our goal was to raise $400,000 for the first phase.

This program was overwhelmingly received by our congregation, and we exceeded all expectations. At the Advance Commitments Dinner we received $586,000 in pledges.

Following the banquet our people stormed to the canvas table and stood in line to make their financial commitments. After all the commitments were counted that night we have reached a total of $720,000 in commitments.

God has done something through this program that we didn't think was possible. We are going to be able to combine phase one and phase two of our building program into one.

If you are a pastor, I would strongly urge you not to lead your church into debt. Challenge your congregation to give above their tithe and to give sacrificially to do something great for God.

I would also recommend you consider Coleman Stewardship Services, Inc. Dr. Coleman has been a delight to work with, and I have learned much about the Biblical principles of stewardship through him.
